Anti-coronavirus safety
procedures (COVID-19)
Our smile is warm and you can see it in our eyes! We all wear masks and smile freely!
For everyone’s safety, we ask you to help us implement the following health protocol, as set out in the instructions of the Ministry of Tourism and the suggestions of our competent partners:
- Before entering the hotel, please stop at the antimicrobial door mat. You can disinfect your hands with the antiseptic solution as well as use disposable gloves, which are placed alongside.
- At the reception, please stand behind the security crystal and keep the required distances from the rest of our guests.
- During the arrival procedure, you will be asked for more personal information (name, nationality, date of arrival and departure, address, telephone number, e-mail). The management of our hotel must keep a record of the staff members and all the people who stayed in it, so that it is possible to contact any COVID-19 case, which may be identified afterwards, in order to protect public health.
- You will receive the key with the room card sterilized using alcohol and UVC rays.
- The elevator is disinfected after each use with UVC rays and with Dalco 100 spray solution. Please use it only with your fellow travelers or one by one.
- The rooms after each departure are thoroughly cleaned with bleach and steam cleaner. The disinfection process (cold fogging, overall spraying, local implementation) is performed using the Dalco 100 disinfectant solution (approval number of the National Organization for Medicines 44435/31.12.2013), in collaboration with our external collaborator - responsible scientist Kapsachatis Ioannis, Agronomist, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (License number 10107/10.07.2017, Joint Ministerial Decision 1791, 2008, 2015). We are constantly informed about the relevant developments and we invest in the continuous training of our staff.
- In addition to the linen (pillowcases, duvet covers, sheets), we also change the protective covers of the mattresses and pillows, after each departure. The hotel clothing is washed at 70℃ with detergent and chlorine, dried and ironed with a steam cylinder at 95℃ and returned to us in disposable packaging, by our external partner Mr. Patidis D.
- Air conditioning filters are thoroughly cleaned with Dalco 100 solution and steam cleaner after each departure.
- Closets can only be used after consultation with the reception.
- The protective film on the remote controls is renewed after each departure.
- After the practices described above, the housekeeping staff uses UVC rays in the room, in the bathroom and in the hallway and seals the room so that it is ready for the next guest.
We have been treating you with kid gloves for 50 years now and we hope we have offered you a homely and warm hospitality, as we wished. Now, we wear gloves in order to try to make this hospitality absolutely safe for your health!
